MINIMALLY INVASIVE PROCEDURES
ECOTone
ecoTone is a quick, non-invasive laser treatment that lightly resurfaces your skin utilizing your body’s natural healing to generate new, fresh tissue, giving a fresh airbrushed appearance. eCOTONE improves the appearance of fine lines and unwanted pigment without the typical pain and long downtime patients expect from traditional eCO2 treatments. BEFORE & AFTER
ECOTONE
eCO2 Plus
Fractional skin resurfacing has dramatically changed the way we approach skin resurfacing and wrinkle reduction. It works by creating tiny microwounds while leaving bridges of untreated skin thus treating only a fraction of the skin’s surface. As a result, discomfort and healing time can be minimized. Fractional resurfacing appeals to a broad range of patients from those needing to repair light damage to those wanting more dramatic results. The procedure lives up to its promise to reduce skin imperfections and promote collagen regeneration for long-term wrinkle reduction, reclaiming the skin’s youthful appearance, tone, and color.
Dr. Bratton will discuss your specific concerns and treatment goals during your consult to
determine whether you are a good candidate for the eCO2 Plus and what the best specific
treatment plan is for you. Results vary depending on age, skin type, and degree of sun damage. Depending on your willingness to tolerate more downtime in a single treatment, versus less downtime broken down over 2-3 treatments and the overall outcome that is desired. Based on your Input and preferences, the fractional resurfacing parameters will be customized to help achieve your goals.
Common treatment benefits
-
Reduces facial fine lines and wrinkles
-
Improves appearance of surgical scars and acne scars
-
Reduces sun damage, brown spots, and some vascular conditions
-
Gives the skin a firmer, smooth appearance
-
Lightens and brightens skin tone
What downtime can be expected?
Immediately following fractional resurfacing treatment, you will typically experience some
swelling and redness for 2-5 days (this is variable depending on the patient’s skin, how it reacts, and the goals of the outcome and what we are trying to treat). For more aggressive single treatments, the skin may remain red for 1-2 weeks and fade to pink over time before it fades away. After about one week and after cleared by Dr. Bratton, you may wear foundation or make-up over the area to fade the redness. If laser resurfacing is performed alone, you may resume normal activity in most cases in 5 days after the laser resurfacing. If you would like a quicker recovery with less downtime, you can opt for a series of EcoTONE treatments, where the redness will last from 6-48 hours. The amount of downtime desired and the skin improvement result we are trying to achieve help determine the correct settings of the laser and which procedure we decide to proceed with for you.
What results can I expect?
Based on Dr. Bratton’s customized approach to achieve your goals, it will depend on how much down time is desired and how aggressive the treatment is. Results can be seen after a single medium to aggressive treatment. For lighter, less downtime treatment the skin improvement may be more subtle but may be achieved with multiple treatments.
Botox
Botox is a neuromodulator aimed to relax the muscles. A common area to use neuromodulators involves the “11” lines, forehead, and crow’s feet. This can be a powerful tool if used regularly with skin care and sun protection along with other rejuvenating procedures. Dr. Bratton is dedicated to achieving a natural appearance with injection of neuromodulators and combining this procedure with others, such as laser, to help prevent the aging process. There are many options when it comes to the brand of neuromodulators. Dr. Bratton will work with you to determine the best one for you. If this is the first time for injection, Dr. Bratton believes it is best to start conservative and add Botox as needed to achieve the best and most natural results. However, if you are a veteran of Botox we can work with your previous patterns that worked for you to achieve the best outcome.
What to Expect
The treatment takes approximately 15-20 minutes in the office. The typical onset of action is 3-7 days after injection. Right after the injection you will see small reddish bumps in the area of the injection that will go away over 12-24 hours. It is important to refrain from use of blood thinners, such as Ibuprofen, Aleve, or Aspirin to avoid bruising with the treatment. Although you can go back to normal activity right after the treatment, we do ask that you do not lay flat and keep your head upright for 4 hours after the procedure. You can resume exercise after 24 hours. The full effect occurs at 2 weeks after the treatment and therefore it is important communicate with us so that we may offer the best result! The length of time neuromodulator lasts depends on the patient and the type of neuromodulator, averaging 3-4 months.

Dr. Bratton specializes in restoring facial volume with autologous fat during surgery or filler in the office setting. She focuses on the tear trough, undereye area and cheek. There are many options when it comes to fillers. Rest assured, Dr. Bratton will be honest with you if you are a candidate for undereye filler or if you would be best suited with a lower eyelid blepharoplasty, fat grafting, and/or mid-face lift to address your under-eye issues. Some patients are great candidates for under eye filler and we are happy to help!
